Dear Arlene,
I was so saddened to hear about your husband's death. I know how close the two of you were and I will be praying for God to comfort you and hold you gently in His arms the next few months. Please know that many, many people in this community are thinking of you and love you very much. In Christian Love,

Dearest Arlene,
Ivan and I were shocked when we heard of his passing. We were just talking with you and Tom at Good Shepherd Church about celebrating your 60th anniversary not too long ago. Since the time we met you and Tom we knew nothing but kindness from you both. Tom will be greatly missed by many. We will keep you and your family in are prayers. With sincere regret. Your friends,

Dear Arlene and family,
I was devastated to hear that Tom had passed away and that he had been through so much over the past 6 weeks. We did have him on the prayer list at Good Shepherd and I was constantly remembering him in prayer. The two of you, as a couple, truly touched everyone's heart and made a deep and wonderful impression on us all. In the short time that we knew Tom, we came to love him. Please know that I have written him on my heart and will never forget him. My sincerest and deepest condolences to you and your family. Wish I could be there for you but I am there in spirit!
