I am disheartened to have just discovered this very sad news. I certainly would have loved to attend the service. The great honor that I did receive was the level of trust that both Frank and Mary Clare shared with me in making me their caretaker of their precious little Mandy. I lived down the street and became a regular babysitter. The level of enthusiasm and energy was high in the household and surely there is a light shining brightly elsewhere to attest to his goodness. Please forgive me and know that I am thinking of you fondly.

Although I did not know Mr. Davis personally he still made a lasting impression on my life as well as my family's life. He will be sorely missed by many. But, just as Channel 4 continues to play every year during Christmas time the story by Phil Johnson of the poor couple who took what little they had to buy something for each other. They will still continue to play Frank's segments of "Ain't there no more" and the videos with Benny Grunch and the Bunch. Enjoy fishing and cooking in heaven!!!! R.I.P.

Dear Mary Clare and Family,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. I am sure you have heard countless stories about Frank and his escapades, so I hope you will not mind one more. Frank in his delightful way always even as a young boy when we went to St. Josephs School would always find a way to make someone know he cared or to make them laugh. One day when my son Lenny was serving as a deck hand on a fishing trip with Cap't Ahab and was introduced to my son he asked my son to repeat his last name.
Exclaiming " I knew a guy with that name in school", Frank just stopped what he was doing and asked what is your dad's first name, "Same as mine" he replied. Well, Frank had my son phone me from Delacroix Iland just so we could just talk for a few minutes and remember old times.
THAT WAS FRANK!
God bless and watch over you and your family.
