I was a patient of Dr Ann. I still miss her insight. I remember our conversations and I found her to be a pioneer that deserves notariety.

Karen, your mother was the family 'griot'. She shared stories about my mother's generation that I had never heard before. She ministered to my father before he passed in 1986, and she was a constant source of support to my mother (Auntie) before she passed in 1997. I so appreciated her visit (along with Tina, Helen and Karl) to us in Winnipeg in July 1997. We'll miss her so much.

When my daughter, Emily, was born, she had a severe curvature of her spine. With gentle manipulation and massage as only Dr. Ann's magic fingers could do it, Emily is now a 12 year old with a perfectly straight spine! Dr. Ann was an exceptional clinician and person. Her warmth and wisdom helped my life, tremendously. She will be sorely missed. Life brings tears, smiles and memories. Tears will dry, the smiles will fade, but the memories live in our hearts forever. May Dr. Ann's memory be a comfort to all of us at this time and may we all be comforted in knowing that she is safe in God's care.

I am so very sorry to hear of Dr Ann's passing. I was one of her patients in Beacon and thought she was a remarkable woman. My prayers are with all of you at this time.

Through the years I have had the privilege of having numerous interactions with Ann, primarily at the board examinations. She was a brilliant clinician, a consistent professional and a wonderful lady. She truly lit up a room with her presence. While our profession will miss her wisdom and leadership, I personally will miss her warm smile and warm personality. Rest in peace Dr. Carpenter. Your memory will live on.

Dr. Ann was a member of the CCE Commission on Accreditation when I first met her and we couldn't have asked for a more sincere and warm-hearted individual to represent our organization. A brilliant decision maker...I will miss my friend Dr. Ann.
