he will be greatly missed.....he touched a lot of people both personally and professionally. His home was your home and he would do everything to make you feel like part of his extended family. He gave so much yet expected little in return.

Mark made me want to be a better person. A man of great character, he touched the lives of everyone around him. His uplifting spirit would always brighten up my day. It was a gift to work with Mark - he had such integrity, compassion, was genuine, supportive, and such a great sense of humor! I could count on him for sound advice, he was like a big brother and special friend. He would glow when talking about his family. Mark was one in a million. This is a tremendous loss for the universe.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Dear Jakki and children , I was devastated when I heard the news. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Jakki, I want your boys to know how much his eyes lit up when he spoke of all his children including his daughter. You all were truly the light of his life. May you find some comfort and peace in the days ahead. I may not make the wake due to previous engagement. Today my heart is heavy. Doreen Martens
