Ted Senkowski Obituary

Ted Senkowski of Cedar Grove died on March 9. He was 87.

Born in Wyndotte, Mich., he lived in Lyndhurst for many years before moving to Cedar Grove in 1955. He was a plastics engineer for Becton-Dickenson, Inc. of Rutherford for 38 years before retiring in 1985. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor.

He is survived by his children, Norma Porter and her husband George, and Carol Peterson and her husband Carl, his grandchildren, Ronald, Michael, David and Jeffery Peterson, Thaddeus Chiko, Gregory, Christopher and Stephanie Porter, and his siblings, Barbara Currens, Celia Smiley, Bernard Senkowski, Laura Esposito and Irene Gramlich.

Funeral services were held at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home and a funeral Mass was held at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church in Cedar Grove. Interment is at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
