Harry Romick Obituary
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Massanutten Cemetery in Woodstock. Reverend Howard Lutz will officiate.
Mr. Romick was born September 4, 1935 in Woodstock, son of the late Charles E. (Jonah) Romick and Edna May McInturff Romick.
He retired from VDOT in August of 1991 after 26 years of service and drove a school bus for Shenandoah County Public Schools for 12 years. He owned and operated a small engine repair shop in Woodstock for 32 years. He was a member of Woodstock Moose Lodge #575 and USBC Bowling League at Mountain View Lanes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Alice Neff Romick whom he married on April 21, 1957 and brothers and sisters, George E. Romick, Helen M. McKelvey, Charles L. Romick and Shirley A. Romick.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheri Lynn Romick at home and her fiancé Garland Mumaw of Edinburg; brother, Roy F. Romick and his wife Mary of Edinburg; sister, Artie M. Wealthy and her husband Calvin of Woodstock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodstock Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 221, Woodstock, VA 22664 or Community Mission Church of the Brethren, 2032 Back Road, Woodstock, VA 22664.
Harry loved bowling, his cats, and fishing aboard the ""Dudley"". He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mr Romick will always be remembered. He was my bus driver for years. He was an amazing man and so kind to me and my sibilings. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time.

Cheri, I'm sadden to hear the passing of your father. He was an amazing man and enjoyed talking with him every time i came in the shop for some parts.
