Diane was a wonderful person and a good friend. She lit up wherever she was. I have enjoyed knowing her and will miss her terribly. I only regret that I never got to actually meet her. Heartfelt sympathy to Rob and Bre, and I will keep you in my prayers.

I didn't know Diane but from all that I have read I know she was a very special lady. May she rest in Eternal Peace.

Missing you heaps Diane. My mobile phone no longer rings as you were the only one with the number. Maybe somebody up there has a phone u can text me on and let me know whats its like in heaven. I've nobody to talk to know about the goings on in the Fire Briage now. Rest in Peace.

Diane, Missing you heaps in the room and our MSN chats also the text messages. I always knew it was you texting as you were the only one with the number. My phone remains silent now. Rest in Peace with the angels and keep an eye on the chatroomm from up there and butt in when you feel like.

Diane will be greatly missed by all her genealogy friends at Rootschat.
She was always so helpful to anyone in need. She was always so much fun to talk about family history with and her passion for it always shone through.

on an amazing lady who had battled on. God looked down from heaven and took her hand
and led her to the promised land.
Her pain was dissolved with his gentle touch
she had taken so little but had given so much.
Below on the earth a family looked on As the clouds closed again and her sole still shone.

Amongst her world-wide friends who shared her passion and love of genealogy, Diane was well known for her amazing strength of character and brilliant sense of humour. Even through the months of her illness, both these qualities shone brightly. May Rob, Breanna and the extended family circle take comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead, from their precious memories of Diane, a very special person, and keep each and every one of those memories in their hearts forever.
A Reason, a Season, a Lifetime...
People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime...
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
