Amanda Anderson Obituary

Amanda Carolyn Anderson CANAL FULTON -- Amanda Carolyn Anderson, 23, resident of Canal Fulton, daughter of John E. Anderson, passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2011. Amanda was born September 6, 1988 in Barberton, Ohio where she spent the early years of her life before moving to Akron and then to Canal Fulton, a place that would become her home for the majority of her short life. She attended Northwest High School and graduated from Life Skills in 2008. More recently, she began working on her post-secondary education. Amanda enjoyed her position at McDonald's, hanging out with her friend, Chris, listening to music and spending time with family. Additionally, she was an accomplished licensed SCUBA diver and took many dives with her father. When she looked to her future, she dreamed of earning a degree and one day having a family of her own. Those who loved Amanda will remember her for her innocent spirit, her hopeful disposition and her dedication to her job. Amanda is survived by her father, John Anderson and her brother Johnny Anderson ``Junior.' She also leaves Roma Anderson, Kristen Anderson, and Jonathan Hartz, along with her grandmother, Carol Olson, several aunts and uncles and 12 cousins. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 7, 2011, 8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93), Canal Fulton. Calling hours Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stark Co. Humane Society, P.O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705.

To Amanda's family:
So, so sorry to hear of your terrible loss. I haven't seen Amanda in many years, but my memories of her are those of the sweet, lovable child that I babysat when I was just a kid myself.

To the parents of Amanda - my heart breaks for you. I know your pain as I lost my young son in the same way... Amanda is in Heaven now - where there is only peace and happiness. In time you will be able to feel comfort in that, but I remember the early days that are filled with the unimaginable sadness and pain..... she is now with you every minute of every day - carried in your hearts.... remember and cherish the happy times... I am so very sorry for your loss..

Amanda, I know that you were not finished yet with your dreams. I know now that you had these far off plans for your future and I am so sad that you didn't have the time to see them come true. We all wish that we could have done something to have kept you here with us because we could have celebrated your future success. My love is with you on your new journey. I will so miss you on this one. Love, Grandma

Amanda,
I miss when we were kids and had nothing to worry about in life. We just played all day long, tried to remake the movie scream, and just enjoyed doing anything together. I remember every day you would call my house and leave the funniest messages. My whole family loved you and you will be forever missed. I will keep you in my prayers forever.

Amanda,

Such a dear friend who always brought laughter and joy into my life, and left a lifetime of memories.

Breakfast at 3 am cuz nobody should work on an empty stomach; led to the fire in the kitchen, but your sweet thoughts made it ok.

When you needed a ride home but didn't know how to get there, it's ok because we went out and bought a tom-tom and made it.

I still stay up all night doing homework, it's just not as fun without you, and I only stay up half the night because I don't have to do yours too.

I will still drive clear to Canal Fulton for a cup of coffee, just because I will miss seeing your smile.

Lock 3 won't be the same without you, who is gonna get me a free drink? Its fine tho, cuz I don't drink, you just always forgot.

We make the perfect team! ((lol))

Yes, you can have my McDonalds clothes cuz "your lovin' it" but I didn't give you the Monopoly shirt yet, but I will give it to someone at work and now they can be the only one wearing one.. wait, I still haven't found it, but when I do...

Your funny! I can almost hear them words still...and that laugh too, and will hold onto that forever!

I know your crackin up as I am writing this and because I have another tab open for help to put it all together. But, saying goodbye to you seems to be the hardest thing I have ever done and that little tab helped, ok?

I love you dearly, Amanda and your a sweet friend like no other, irreplaceable, fun, loving, and the best. Your in my heart forever and I pray everyone you have touched as you did me will gain the strength to get through this time, and to once again find peace as you are now in Heaven; in Jesus' name I pray

AMEN!
