DAVID--YOU DID GO FIRST AND I REMAINED TO WALK THE ROAD ALONE. I LIVED IN MEMORIES GARDEN DEAR WITH HAPPY DAYS WE'D KNOWN. IN SPRING, I WAITED FOR ROSES RED, WHEN THE LILACS FADED BLUE. IN FALL WHEN BROWN LEAVES FALL I CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF YOU. YOU DID GO FIRST AND I REMAINED FOR BATTLES TO BE FOUGHT. EACH THING YOU TOUCHED ALONG THE WAY WILL BE A HALLOWED SPOT. I HEAR YOUR VOICE, I SEE YOUR SMILE THROUGH BLINDLY I MAY GROPE---THE MEMORY OF YOUR HELPING HAND WILL BUOY ME ON WITH HOPE. YOU DID GO FIRST AND I REMAINED TO FINISH WITH THE SCROLL. THE LENGTHING SHADOWS DID CREEP IN TO MAKE THIS LIFE SO DROLL. WE HAD KNOWN SO MUCH OF HAPPINESS, WE HAD OUR CUP OF JOY, AND MEMORY IS ONE GIFT OF GOD THAT DEATH CAN NOT DESTROY. YOU DID GO FIRST AND I REMAINED ONE THING YOU HAVE TO DO---

WALK SLOWLY DOWN THAT LONG LONE PATH FOR I WILL FOLLOW YOU. I WANT TO KNOW EACH STEP YOU TOOK THAT I MAY WALK THE SAME. FOR SOMEDAY DOWN THAT LONELY ROAD YOU'LL HEAR ME CALL YOUR NAME. DAVID, IT'S ME.

I have so many memories from my earliest days of the many things you did for our family. Most importantly though is what you meant to everyone in our family. Your legacy will live long and strong in each of us as we venture through this life. I will treasure our recent visit and the many memories it brought back.

So many fond childhood memories of visits with Aunt Marie and Uncle Dave that I will always cherish. I am so glad I got to see her again after all these years a few weeks ago. It is always hard when we lose someone, but rejoicing in knowing that she is no longer suffering and that we will all be together again someday! Keeping all the family in our thoughts and prayers and sending our love.

Corbin Family, I remember the swimming lake your parents had on Cleve Mass Road. They were so friendly and always took the time to talk with all the small children. My kids thought of them as adopted grandparents. The were wonderful people and will be missed by all. Debbie Siegenthaler Lewis

To our Corbin family,
Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. We have so many good memories of Grandma and Grandpa. They go back to when my kids were small and we went back to Sunnyside to swim. They were the friendliest pair and so fun to be around. And of course the meal Grandma would prepare for Thanksgiving. All good times.Grandma is where she has wanted to go, she missed Grandpa so much. I know it will leave a spot that doesn't heal, because she will be missed by all who knew her. Our Love and prayers, Greg and Cheryl
