Donald Kovacs Obituary
Don was born on January 10, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Dorothy (Lewis) Kovacs. Don graduated from Green High School in 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Green.
Don was employed at Standard Jig and Boring in Green and was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He always enjoyed his time with friends and family.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kovacs and is survived by his wife, Kathi Kovacs and two sons, Jeremy and Tyler Kovacs of Green; his mother, Dorothy Kovacs of Kissimmee, Florida; his brother, Dave (Rosie) Kovacs of Clinton; his sister, Dianne (John) Simmons of Iron City, Tennessee and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends, MONDAY, July 9, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton). Those wishing to share a memory or their condolences may sign the online guestbook at www.swigarteasterlingfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Kovacs Children Benevolent Fund at any FirstMerit Bank.

I met Don through work and we instantly hit it off with our mutual interest of the outdoors. He will be missed by all.

Kathi, Jeremy and Tyler,
We were so upset to hear of Don's passing. I will never forget us moving in and you both instantly walked over and introduced yourselves. We loved you from day 1! LB always enjoyed Don's visits when he was out in the yard. I always joked that it would take LB 3 hours to mow the yard, 2 to mow and 1 to talk to Don. :) He always kept an eye out for the kids coming and going to school and we so appreciated that and his friendship.
He will definately be missed, we are here for you, with whatever you need.

Dear Dorothy, Dave and Diane:
We were deeply saddened to hear of Don's sudden passing. We have such fond memories of Donnie from the many summer vacations we spent at Aunt Julia and Uncle Paul's farm. Donnie was always the first one down the long laneway on his bike when he heard we had arrived.
