Eldus Fox Obituary
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, he was a longtime resident of the Canal Fulton/ Marshall-ville area. A graduate of Canal Fulton High School, he was a member of the Clinton and Canal Fulton Churches of the Nazarene, retired from Morton Salt in 1988 after 28 years of service and was a lifelong farmer.
The Family would like to give special thanks to the RN staff and staff of Personal Touch of Wayne County (Deb, Lou and Katie) and Marie Connolly, PASSPORT, care manager.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley A. Fox in 1978 and is survived by his wife, Marileen Fox; children, Rachel (Michael) Hirschfelt; Mark (Stephanie) Fox; Ruth (Wayne) Weese; Elizabeth Fox. Grandchildren, Lindsay (Kevin) Stacy, Victoria Fox, Ben Stoneking and Noah Stoneking; brother, James D. (Mary Ellen) Fox, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral Service THURSDAY, 11:00 a.m. at the Canal Fulton Church of the Nazarene, 771 Cherry St. E. with Rev. George Hazlett officiating. Burial Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY 5 to 8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and Thursday one hour prior to services AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Area Agency on Aging/ Care for a Lifetime, 1550 Corporate Woods Pkwy #100, Uniontown, OH 44685 or Hospice-Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd. Wooster, OH 44691.

Eldus was one of the kindest men I have had the pleasure of knowing. It always amazed me that in spite of his life-long struggle with CP, he managed to live a rich life, raise a beautiful family, work hard and be an inspiration to everyone ...who knew him. He was a man of unfailing faith and a prayer worrier that interceded for all of us at one time or another. While it is sad that he is gone... we can be sure that his big ole' smile is as fresh and new today, as it is, and will always be, in our fondest memories of him.

Dear Marileen and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at the passing of a Wonderful man. My boys still talk about the good times they had when they would come to the farm. I remember when Eldus would come and sit and talk with my dad. He always had a smile and kind word. He will be greatly missed. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
