James Irwin Obituary
He was a 1974 graduate of Norton High School and was a member of Teamster Local #407, working for Yellow Freight.
He was a loving and proud father and grandfather and is survived by his daughters, Allison (Matt) Duncan and Maegan (Andrew) Bergdorf; granddaughter, Kelsey Bergdorf; brothers, Tom (Cathy) Irwin, Randy (Sherrie) Irwin and Dave (Jessie) Irwin; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mae Irwin.
A memorial service will be held TUESDAY 1 p.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 8101 Manchester Rd., Canal Fulton, Ohio, with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. (Swigart-Easterling, 330-854-2356)

Thanks for all the memories, Jim when we made our trips to Ohio for special occasions and holidays. You always gave us big hugs when we arrived and when we left. You will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. It was a pleasure having you as a brother in law. I know you will watch over Allison, Matt, Maegan, Andrew and Kelsey.

I have great childhood memories of Jim - boy scouts, baseball in neighborhood, and family gatherings on the weekend. I choose to remember those good times during this tragic event, remembering that heaven is a great place to be. Enjoy your new home Jim. Peace and condolences to the family.

So terribly sorry to hear this news. Jimmy was a school mate all the way back to second grade at Sherman School. We had recently ran into each other in Canal Fulton and it was so nice to catch up. His family and friends have my heartfelt condolences.

There was a time when we all worked at Consolidated Freightways.
They were the best of times.
Jimmy was the epitome of a good friend.
We shared so many stories together.
And though our lives went in different directions, we continued to stay in touch. I'll miss that.
I remember when he transferred to York, Pa. and on that last day at the Pocono terminal we embraced each other.
James V. Irwin Jr. meant so much to me and I will always remember him.

I went to school with Jimmy at Norton High School. He was a good friend. Helped me get a job unloading trucks at CF. Many good times and memories with our old group that ran around together. Moved away long time ago; however, fond memories...sorry for your loss.
