Thinking of you and praying for you. Sorry, I couldn't make the funeral and viewing but you are in my thoughts. Thanks for the memories fellow teacher and honored to say Pamela Browning Cookingham was your student. You did a super job teaching Spanish and she got credit at OSU for one year of Spanish because of your gift to teach. Hope to see you Jeff when we travel from Cody WY to Oh end of Sept. 2012. Love and hugs, Evelyn & Harry Browning

Mrs. Tabor was such a beautiful, kind, and caring woman. I loved having her as a Spanish teacher and enjoyed hearing interesting stories about her family, other fun jobs she'd had, and her love of Ohio State. I always look fondly on our yearly pizza dinner my friends and I would have with her and Mr. Tabor. She will truly be missed and every time I hear "Hang on Sloopy" I'll think of her and smile.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Tabor. I worked with Pat and Scott at the McDonalds for a couple years. Her son and I became friends. Pat was a hard worker and had a wonderful sense of humor. To say she was an avid OSU fan was an understatment! At the time the family had a gray fullsize van with block Os painted on the back. I'll never forget the trip Her, Scott, and another buddy Mark took in said van out to Hersey, PA to see the Big 33 game, just so we could see the new OSU recruits in action. She will be greatly missed!!

Senora Tabor's Spanish class was always a fun part of the day. I remember the OSU decorated class room. I am sad to hear that she passed away so young. My thoughts are with Mr. Tabor (another great teacher!) and her family and friends.

I'm so sorry I missed personally paying my respects--I just found out the sad news. I was privileged to have her for Eng Lit & Speech classes '66,'67 & '68. She chose to be 'Jane' to me and my speech teammates. We had so much fun!!! She was an outstanding coach & teacher fresh out of the gate. She taught 5 of my 6 kids & I knew they had the best. With Love & prayers

I had Mrs. Tabor all through high school. Some of my best memories of those years are from her guidance of us in Mass Media, her passion for the evolution of mass communication, and the many projects we got to create... even the ones she smartly shot down. Our education system needs more teachers like Mrs. Tabor.

Mrs. Tabor was one of my favorite teachers at Chippewa and was part of the inspiration
for me to become a teacher myself. I am sure her and Woody Hayes are having some great conversations...oh how she loved her Scarlet and Grey.

The words "THANK YOU," seem so inadequite when I think of the profound influence Pat had on my son Joshua Albright.
Joshua and I met Pat his freshman year of highschool. For the next 4 years Pat helped to instill confidence without arrogance, passion without ego and a determination with purpose. Because of Pat, Joshua lives in Los Angeles, and is studying acting. He tried recently to call her and share the excitement and details of his classes.Unfortunately she was too ill to take the call, she would have loved sharing this journey in his life.
Pat was a wonderful inspiration for Joshua and many others. As a mom I will always be indebted to her for the countless hours she gave to her community and to my son personally... to make a difference in his life, and many others! Her candle will shine brighty.... for a long time to come. "MAY GOD BLESS AND COMFORT HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS."

Pat and I taught together back in the dark ages at Chippewa Middle School. She was absolutely the funniest and most entertaining staff member. I'm sorry we lost track of each other and I'm saddened that the world lost such a bright star so young.

Mrs. Tabor or as most of us remember her, Senora Tabor, was my favorite teacher by far. I spent 4 years with her as her student and 1 year as her aide for Spanish 2. Some of my best school memories are of her and every time I am in Mexico I think of her. My condolences go out to her family and I will be praying for you all to receive comfort and peace. Eres Tu!

She taught both my brother and I (a combination of 8 years) and my parents always said that their favorite parent-teacher conference meetings were with Senora Tabor. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Chica. She was an amazing woman and a loyal friend who touched the lives of all who crossed paths with her. I will hold dear in my heart our times teaching together and laughing to the point of tears over our four hour lunches and two hour phone calls; for as we all know, Pat loved conversation. I am so very honored to say that she was my friend and mentor. Please know that we are with you all during this time.

To Pats Family. So sorry to read of her passing and also see that she lost a grandchild. Many years have past but frequently think of some of the wonderful teachers at Chippewa and she and Jeff are among them. I don't think I had Pat for a class but always valued her friendship. I believe she was a friend to anyone who looked to her for reassurance. I know OSU will miss a great fan. Hope you all will know the love of the Lord at this time. Prayers for peace as I know you will miss her. Sincerely, Francie Hummel Casto
