Roberta Schroeder Obituary
Preceded in death by husbands Clell Swigart in 1958 and George Schroeder in 1971, she is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Funeral service SATURDAY, 10 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, 336 W. Market St., Canal Fulton, with Pastor Michelle Nickodemus officiating. Burial will take place at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home , 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 527 W. Tuscarawas Ave., Barberton, OH 44203 or the Northwest Stark Senior Citizens Center, 853 S. Locust St., Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614. Bertie was one of the most interesting, nice and funny people I ever knew. I feel very lucky to have had her for a friend.

Bertie was a wonderful woman who you would always see working in her yard and loving it. She was a very independent in her ways. She taught my daughter and I how to play Kings in the Corner Card game at SPJ Card Party and she was a joy to be around at the Casino Trips.
