We will sure miss seeing him in Hessel. My Dad loved sitting and chatting for hours with him. Such a great sense of humor and such awesome stories. Sledding down the hill into Hessel and playing baseball in the yard of our house and never breaking one of the stained glass windows. He will be missed by everyone. Miss you John RIP!

Hi George.... Sorry to hear about this loss... Sounds like he had an interesting good productive life, and must have been a good craftman also... I mentioned his passing to Bud and to Ray and Joan Hansen also... Ray wondered if this was the guy who's nick name was "Slab"... everyone said to send condolences...
Warm regards RB

I would look forward to every time that John came in to the store. He always stopped to see me. Every day. I'm so glad he came into my life. I'm forever changed because of it and I have an extended family/friends in knowing him. What a gentle and kind man. I used to always tease him about his Pow Wow coat! I will surely miss him the rest of my days.
