Well I knew you when I was a kid, but I was too young to remember. Thirty some years later, in August of 2006, I found you. Although some will say it is unfair that I missed out on having you in my life for all of those years, only to find you and have it tragically cut short a few years later, I really am happy that I got to know you for the last 5 years. If you had passed without us being reunited, the rest of my life would have been filled with mystery, anger, and regret. Meeting you has given me two wonderful things. First, I have met an entire new family, and have been all over the country meeting them. From L.A. To Virginia Beach to Zion to DeSoto, it has been amazing to meet my new family. Second, I had you. It was fascinating to get to know you and all of your quirkiness. The mystery of not knowing who you were my whole life was gone, and I became a more peaceful person because of it. It's sad we didn't get more time together, and I will miss you, but I'm SO glad I met you. Rest in Peace Pops.

You will be so missed. I loved your humor, warmth, intelligence and zest for life. You lived life on your terms, and would not compromise what made you happy. I wish we could all be like you.

So blessed to have known such an intelligent and funny person. I know which general direction I get the trouble maker gene from, too, that's for sure. I really loved the times I got to see you, although not nearly enough. As far back as I can remember, I sure did love it when uncle Josh and uncle Larry came to visit! You really could not have done a better job, thanks for him too. Bonus! I also got to see NY and Cali because of you, how could you NOT be the coolest? Also, If it were not for you, some of our lives would be wildly different, and for that we can never thank you enough. Thanks for all the laughs and stories, we are so lucky to have had the opportunity to know you and love you. I love you and miss you, please hug grandma and grandpa for us.

May you rest in peace dear cousin. I wish we didn't always live so far apart, but it was nice to catch up with you when you were in town. Now you are with my wonderful son Andrew who like you was taken way too soon. I'm sure he will have some family stories to tell you. My prayers and thoughts are with your family as I know they are grieving over losing you.

My dear Joshua, my cherished friend, Many years ago we were introduced through a mutual friend. Little did I know then what a blessing that was. You took my heart and taught it so much, you held it when it hurt and laughed with it when we all got into our little antics. You filled my life in ways you will never know.
I will always treasure you. I heard a line in a show today, it said when we leave this world our soul lives on in those who love us. I am honored to say I carry a piece of your soul in my heart. I love you and miss you. Till we meet again my friend, be at peace.
