Harms, Rev. David G. 74 Nov. 11, 1936 Sept. 21, 2011 The Rev. Harms, a retired Lutheran Pastor, passed away surrounded by his family after a two year struggle with cancer. David was born in Minneapolis, Minn., to Earnest and Alvina Harms. In retirement, he served other local parishes: Good Shepherd Lutheran in Southwest Portland, Hope Lutheran in Woodburn and Our Redeemer Lutheran in Tigard. David loved nature and the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. Pastor Harms was my first pastor, presided over my confirmation ['86], first communion, and baptism. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Pastor Harms and the Prince of Peace Church. God Bless.

Dear Harms Family,
Pastor Harms was well loved by our family, my mom and dad especially - Harold and Arlene Peters. He saw them, and us, through many of life's circumstances. I'm sure the reunion in heaven will be a happy one. My prayers are with you. Lori (Peters) Thompson
