Gloria was a fine teacher. I still remember the encouragement she gave me and the others at Cedar Ridge when we were making lino-cut prints, no easy task. I have thought of this moment on and off the last 30 years, no doubt because she took the extra effort to make the class worth while. Hi, Tahnee. My thoughts to you and your family.

I remember when Gloria came to Cedar Ridge Junior High School. I was an eighth grade student and my dad was the industrial arts teacher at the school. Gloria and the other art teacher John Allgood were very influential to me and inspired many students to pursue their artistic passions. I was so shocked to read about Gloria's passing and it made me realize as I read about her many accomplishments how we miss so many opportunities to truly know people. Tahnee, my warmest thoughts are with you. Like Tiff said, let's get back in contact.

I was shocked to see the picture of my dear old friend Tahnee's mother Gloria in the paper. It's been years since I've seen them, and I was so sad to hear that such a talented artist and loving mother had past away. My thoughts are with you, and I do hope to somehow reconnect in the coming year.
