James Lloyd Koelling

Koelling, James Lloyd 61 Nov. 25, 1949 Nov. 03, 2011 James Lloyd Koelling passed away on Nov. 3, 2011. James was born in Klamath Falls in 1949 and raised in Corvallis (go Beavers!), where he attended elementary and H.S. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Norvella; daughter, Vanessa; and brother, Edward. James was an enthusiastic outdoorsman, gardener and horticulturist. He loved salmon fishing in the Tillamook Bay and fly-fishing on the Malheur River where he camped with family and friends for many years. James and Norvella traveled the world together-enjoying adventures in Nigeria, Mexico, Canada, Belize, Europe, and Egypt, often with their daughter. For the last 23 years, home was a farm outside Yamhill, where James put his heart and soul into restoration projects to conserve the natural beauty of the Willamette Valley for future generations. James was a kind, generous, and loving person, husband, and father. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
