Christine:
I and Larry can not tell you how much we loved and enjoyed Laurence. His ready smile and twinkle in his eyes made you happy no matter what was going on. We will miss him a ton and I know you and everyone who knew him will also. I am so sorry that we can not attend today but you are in our thoughts and here for you anytime you need.

Dear Christine,
I've thought of you frequently since I saw your husband's picture in the paper last weekend. That portrait conveys exactly what I saw when you introduced us; a welcoming smile and twinkling honest eyes. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Peace be with you.

I will always appreciate your warm sense of humor, Laurence, and your ability to break into melodic French when addressed. I treasure one of your last days when we shared belly-laughs and dredged up memories of our times together. Thank you, my friend.
