Hard to believe it has been 8 years since Pete passed. Even though I worked at his alma mater Jesuit High for many years, I only got to meet Pete through the joy of participating in Heroes in Pinstripes baseball camp. Pete was a joy to know, fun to be around and easy to talk with. He had the gift of making others feel better just by being around him. I am grateful for that gift and feel my life was enriched just by knowing him and considering him a friend. RIP friend, loving husband and father.

I was crushed to hear of Peter's passing. We shared many joint memories of camp. I will always remember his quiet humor and his pride the year that "Judge Tony" attended camp. I will always treasure his friendship.

I just now received the news of Peter's passing and wish to offer my heartfelt condolences to his family. Peter was one of my fellow baseball camp buddies whose friendship I most enjoyed both on and off the field for so many years.
Thanks for the great times, Peter - I will always cherish the memories.

Another HIP veteran to attest to how much Peter will be missed. I've only gone to a couple of camps but was welcomed by people like Peter so I felt included from day one. Great legal & baseball mind and always a smile on his face is what I'll remember.

I am also just finding this out and can only say that he was a great teammate at fantasy camp and a great person besides. He and I had many conversations at camp about family, life and baseball and all of us have lost a good friend and human being

I don't know how it is possible that I am only just now learning this tragic news. I knew Pete through baseball and always treasured the opportunity to play with him as a teammate. I truly hope you all are doing alright in his absence as surely it shall be felt for a long, long time.

I was shocked to hear about Peter. He shared the locker right next to me in Yankees fantasy camp. Although I was there only 10 years Peter was there longer than I was. He was the first guy to extend a hand to me and welcome me to the club. He was a great teammate and friend, he will be missed.

Was just made aware of Peter's passing, shocked. Played baseball with Peter at Yankee Fantasy Camp. Great guy, great teammate and seemed like a remarkable human being... R.I.P. Peter. Thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I am stunned and saddened to hear of Peter's passing. Peter was a friend, employer and mentor to me and my sister. I worked for Peter briefly during my college breaks. I got to know Peter and Regina and their huge hearts and love of family. I was honored to be Sam's godmother. Peter and Regina were my second family for many years and I love them very much.

I knew Peter from my days as a St. Mary's girl. What I remember most about Peter is the joy he shared with all who knew him.
Peter brightened up any room simply by walking into it. Since I heard of Peter's death I keep recalling one verse from the Bible - "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." And Peter certainly did all of those things. For all of us his race was far too short. I have no doubt about the glorious prize which awaited him. My thoughts and prayers are with all his beloved family and friends.

I just learned of Peter's passing. Peter and I worked together as young lawyers at the FCC manyy years ago. Since that time, we had occasional contact on business matters and visits when he was in Washington. I valued his friendship and greatly admired his legal acumen. My deepest condolences to his family.

Tony and DeDe -
I never knew any of your kids, the price of being the eldest, but learning of Peter's death was a jolt because of the importance you have played in our lives. It has been said "the good die young", Peter must have finished his work and has now gone home.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tony and Dede: We are so sorry for your loss and that of the rest of your family. I remember Peter as "the kid down the street with the braces" when I was a kid growing up as your neighbors. He was quite the accomplished lawyer and obviously followed his fathers footsteps. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the rest of your family.

When I think of Peter Casciato I think of "familia." Our grandparents grew up together in Garlic Gulch (St. Philip Neri Parish), our fathers were roommates at University of Portland, DeDe and Tony are godparents to my sister, and although I have 6 sisters I have always considered Mary Jo my 7th sister. My Uncle Joe Loprinzi always thought of Peter as a son. I remember you all in my heart and prayers. Ciao e amore, Mercedes Loprinzi and family.

Dear Pete, You don't know me but I wanted to let your family know that my oldest brother Guy Bernard emailed me and my two other brothers, with the sad news of your death. Sad because all who know you will miss you terribly, but joyous because you have been called Home.
Your mother babysat for us when we were little (I will be 65 this month) and I must have been a toddler because I don't remember her babysitting us. My parents, Joe and Helen Bernard, will be in Heaven to meet you with my youngest brother Danny, who was a couple years older than you but died when he was 12. I'm sure all whose lives you have touched will be celebrating your life and sharing stories that will be lifting their hearts whenever they think of you.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Keep watching over those you love, I'm sure they will feel it and be glad that you are still with them when they need you.
Love to you and your family.
