Dom was a tremendous asset to the Boys State program for many, many years. Even in his later years he never shied away from hard work. He was an amazing man for whom I am grateful to have known and worked with. He will be missed.

We just heard a few days ago, that our old buddy,Dom has left this Earth for a better place, where I am sure he will be welcomed with open arms. Jim & I met Dom many years ago, while he was living in Alexandria, and became instant friends. It was a friendship that lasted 35 years. We shared good times, "not so good" times, and lots of absolutely great times. Our unforgettable experiences while working with the American Legion Boys State program would fill a book. We got to know some of Dom's family, and to all of them, we send our prayers and heartfelt sympathy. He made a positive difference in many lives. He will be missed, more than you could ever know.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Dom's family. Mark and I knew Dom through the American Legion and especially the Boys State Program. Dom was always a caring and wonderful person to us. We will miss his yearly kind words that he would send to us in his Christmas cards. Our prayers are with you all at this time.

My deepest sympathy to the Scaffido family. Mr. Dom was a great friend to my brothers and I as well as the whole family. We worked together for years. When it came time to apply for college, Mr. Dom gave all of us encouragement and direction. His energy, his smile, and love of life was incredible. He was a combat veteran in World War II and served bravely and with honor during some of the darkest days of the war. His love of God was inspirational. We will all miss him.

Dom was my supervisor at NAVMTO back in the 80's. He was a great supervisor and taught me everything I knew about claims and debt collections. Although I used to balk when he would re-write my letters, he taught me how to write winning letters that always got results. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. I am sorry to hear of Dominick's passing. He was a fine legionnaire and totally dedicated to the American Legion Boys' State program until his health would not let him work it anymore. You have our deepest sympathy.
