Joe and Maggie - I just was told of the passing of Maura today by an old time AVS employee and could not believe it. Although I did not meet Maura, I did speak with her often while planning my wedding which Joe was a DJ at. She sounded to be such a loving and wonderful woman and did speak with love about her daughter and hubby. Joe. Our prayers are with you and Maggie at this difficult time in your life.If there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask. Although it hurts now, just remember what a blessing Maura was to your lives.

I worked with Maura at Westat and she became a treasured friend. She "adopted" my Army daughter while my kid was in Iraq and sent many care boxes. To this day, Gingee displays a ceramic rose Maura sent to her. Maura's untimely death is a loss to the world.

Maggie and Joe,
I only met Maura in person a couple times but we talked on the phone every week for several years. She was my supervisor for MEPS but since then we've lost touch. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. She was a wonderful person.

Dear Joe and Maggie:
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I've never been lucky enough to meet either of you as I lost touch with Maura about 15-20 years ago. I was lucky enough to call Maura one of my best frieds from Manhattan College. We had a lot of laughs together and she is one of the first people I think about when reminiscing. She was a wonderful person and is in our prayers!

Dearest Ivan and family... I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mauras passing. I was lucky enough to catch up with her for lunch at Franco's a few years back and was impressed at how wonderful and beautiful she was. She adored her family and spoke of all of you with the highest praises. She will be missed and you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
