On Wed., March 9, 2011, formerly of Groveton, age 89. Brother of Anne Petrowski Porta, the late Mary Takach and John Petrowski; uncle of Ron, Don, Mike and Marilyn Porta and Christine Sofranko, Maureen and Frank Takach and Rita Ann Petrowski. Paul was a Test Equipment Engineer at RCA for many years and US Army Signal Corp. Friends received Mon. 3-7 p.m. at the JOSEPH M. SOMMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5405 Steubenville Pike, Moon Run, Robinson Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Send condolences at post-gazette.com/gb

I was an employee at the Highlands of Montour Run where Paul resided for a few years. He would come down to the Clubhouse everyday and have a coffee and a treat. Paul was a very pleasant man. I looked forward to seeing his face everyday and having a conversation with him. Of all the years I have been a property manager Paul will never be forgotten. He was such a pleasure to have for a resident and you dont come across people like Paul very often. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends. God Bless
