Dear Frey Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.Though it has been a long while, after learning of Adam's story, remembering of my teenage years as his sitter, my heart goes out to you. Continue to "trust in the Lord with all your heart..." and "...in all your ways acknowledge him...(Proverbs 3:5-6)
In Christ,

Dear Cindy and Family,
My heart is with you and was shocked to hear the sad news. This is Steven and Janet from Ithaca who fought the fight alongside you at Hope's Lodge. You were such a devoted mother with endless energy and love for Adam and everyone there in a similar situation. I remember you cooking non-stop and having support for everyone nearby.

We are still battling Janet's cancer and praying for a miracle as we've exhausted the medical options. My empathy for you and your family are heartfelt. I hope there is peace out there somewhere, sometime.

Dear Jerry and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Adam. I read his story in the paper and I was really amazed that he was such a remarkable young man. I used to work with Jerry a few years ago and I met your son and remember speaking with him. He had a zest for life that few people have. He was a very impressive kid and it was a pleasure to have known him. Jerry, please send me an email.
Respectfully,
Dennis Stephens

Dear Frey Family,
Our family sends our sympathy to you all. Though we lost touch over the years, once I heard of Adam's cancer, I followed his battles through his blog and on fb. I prayed for a miracle and believed with him, for it.

He was truely a very wise and intelligent young man, and lived his life in a way that you can take pride in.

I know that you know that he is no longer suffering and is in heaven amoung all the peace and beauty that only heaven brings. I know that makes us happy for him, but it's our loss and missing his face, his voice, his being with us that make the days long and sorrowfull. I KNOW your pain, because of my sister's sudden death 13 years ago.

I pray that on the days when the sorrow seems like it will never leave you, that the Lord comforts you. I pray that you are able to find comfort in each other and the arms of friends, and people who loved Adam.

Please know that in the days ahead, I will continue to keep you in my prayers. So very sorry for your loss.

Cindy,Jerry,Kris and G. It's finally sinking in; our hero is gone... I will so miss our talks and his unique insight. Though I'm more than twice his age he taught me much about life. Though your fight is over the legacy will remain. The greatest tribute I can offer is simply this: "The only person who didn't love Adam is the one that didn't know him"

We are very shocked of not knowing that Adam was battling a very serious illness. Shawn would play out in the culdesac with Adam and Garrett when they were very young. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. It is a shame that so many young people are taken at such a very young age from the people that love them so dearly. I hope that you find comfort knowing that Adam is no longer suffering and that he can watch over the family as you have watched over him during his time of need. God Bless..

Adam's cancer and its consequences depressed me like none other. My son Maxwell pointed him out to me at the home wrestling match last year. He was alone in the stands. I cried for him then and I do so again now. I met you, Mrs. Frey, at dinner prior to the match. I was a new wrestling parent at Blair. You made me feel at home. Your love and care obviously helped Adam. What a great young man. I'm very sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. Even though Adam has no more pain we still can't except that he was taken from this world at such a young age. All we can do is pray that God will give you all comfort and peace to help you through this difficult loss. You are in my prayers.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. It's always a tragedy to lose anyone and it seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away the ones we love, especially those at their prime of life. It's such a blessing, then, to have the wonderful hope that God's Word holds out, that under His kingdom that we pray for, "death... and mourning and outcry and pain will be no more". I hope you can draw comfort from that as I have.

Adam was a very unique young man....wise beyond his years, strong, giving, full of insight. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

Cindy, you have been by his side since day one and he appreciated the selfless way you administered to his needs throughout his illness. Although losing a child must be the most painful experience anyone would ever have to bear, I hope that you can be comforted by knowing the profound impact you had on Adam by the way you raised him, and that in turn his life has had a profound impact on others' lives.

Garrett, I'm sorry you have lost your big brother. I know Adam will remain by your side all through your life. He was very proud of you.

In God's Love,
Julie

May God bless you and dry your tears as He holds Adam in His gentle arms. My son, Mike Wolff, talked very highly of him and his struggles over the last year. Know, that as a mom, I have prayed for you and your family and will continue to do so in the days to come. Know that Adam will be with you as your angel. Much love.
