Peter CARBONE Obituary
CARBONE, Peter
Born in Roseville, CA in 1924 and longtime resident of Carmichael, CA passed away on August 20, 2011. Beloved husband of 64 years to Mary Carbone. Dear father of Terrie Makin (Greg) & Toni Howe (Virgil); daughter-in-law, Linda Carbone. Preceded in death by his son, Michael. Devoted grandfather of Michele (Ron), Brad (Lesley), Jessica (Aaron), Elizabeth (Tatsuya) & Brigette (Jamie). Great-grandfather of Josh, TJ, James, Allie, Katelyn, Brooklyn, Carson, Addison, Sierra and Willow; sister-in-law, Gene Carbone and numerous nieces and nephews. Peter will be remembered as a great story teller who served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII receiving three Bronze Stars. After the service Peter worked at McClellan and Mather Field retiring in 1978. Peter and Mary then enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, their grandchildren and touring the country attending the 315th Bomb Wing annual reunions. All are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St, West Sacramento.

I was shock to hear from Rick when I was in Oregon that cousin Peter had passed away. I always thought of him as a gentle soul any time I would see him he would always have a smile. My prayers & thoughts go out to all of you. Rest in Peace Cousin Pete.

Peter...Peter...Peter, whose going to be Santa now? You always had a smile for me and our whole family during our life as we drifted in and out of Terry Way. All those epic Christmas Eve's in my grandparent's kitchen made for some wonderful memories indeed. My first steps were actually in your home. Thank you again!
