Love you, always. Wish you were here. Wish my kids got to know you. (they would have loved you so much) I try my best to live in a way you would be proud.
I truly wish there were visiting hours. You will always be missed. We named our youngest after you. You live on in these kiddos. I wish I could give you another hug and have one more heart to heart and hear your stories. I love you grandpa.
You truly were unlike any other human I have ever met. I hope we meet again in this life or the next. I love you forever and a day. xx Darling granddaughter.

Beats the hell out of mine here
And if we all believe in heaven
Then we will make it through
One more year, down here"

To say "I'm so sorry" to hear of Fred's passing is sad.I am that and more. He was my cousin. My friend when we were small. I wish we had kept more in touch. He will be missed. Love Joan Matern

Fred was a great gut even as a teenager. He was a great friend to many of us in Price. Fred was very bright and had such a great sense of humor. His stories and jokes were fun but it was his intelligence that drew so many friends to him. He had a natural insight into technical and scientific things. He understood math and science and was able to explain things so we could understand too. Fred loved the church and kept us, his friends, obedient and faithful. He helped us understand the big picture as we passed through the late teen years of questioning. And we will never forget that beautiful red Chevy with the big engine roaring down the road east of the Price airport.
My condolences to the family and friends. I know I will see Fred again and oh what fun it will be.

There is no brief way to explain what my Grandfather meant to me...I will say that he has left footprints on my heart, and an array of memories that will stay with my forever...I was blessed to have him in my life for 24 years. It puts a smile on my face to know that he got to meet and have a relationship with my children and my niece. He was a proud Great-Grandfather.
My Grandfather was an amazing individual. Those who knew him can attest to that. He was truly remarkable. I will miss him terribly.
Take care Grandpa. I love you.

I am so saddened to see Fred's passing. I worked with Fred at the Hanson Planetarium for many years, during that time came to appreciate his dry witty humor and genius level intelligence. I send my deepest sympathies to his family! Fred was a unique man & those who were lucky enough to have known him were truly blessed. God bless you all.
