I've been trying to find my old friends " the Geritano family" for the longest time. This was what I found and I am so sorry. This was quite a shock! But I must say that I hope that Jerry and Stew find each other in heaven. They were two funny guys. Grace, if you read this, call me in Coral Springs, Florida. Cuz, so hard to find the right words. Losing you brought back a wave of pain that washed over me like when I lost my mom and brothers. I know why that is, its because you were my brother, the one last family member, friend I had left. You always kept in touch even when I didn't. You always stuck up for me, even when I was wrong, cause thats what family does. Tears don't come easy for me any more, but they came and still come for you. As we get older and wiser we realize how precise life and friends really are. Sometimes we forget what’s important or think time will always be on our side when it comes to saying things you wish you could have said earlier. Growing up on President Street, you gave us all too many wonderful memories to ever forget. I’ll always remember ‘the penguin’ when he tried to play hockey, all the fun times when the bagel store first opened and most of all just the laughs we shared. Going home after you’ve been away for awhile is always hard but passing by the corner of Smith and President just got harder. Our deepest and most sincere condolences to all of the Geritano family.
