William M. Thomson, 63, of Nutley, N.J., passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013. Funeral services are Thursday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 271 Roseland Ave., Essex Fells, N.J., at 11 a.m. Cremation will be held privately. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, N.J. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.farmerfuneral.com. Born in Newark, N.J., to Archibald and Maryanne (Pritchard) Thomson, William grew up in East Orange, N.J., before moving to West Orange, N.J., where he lived for the past 30 years. He was an interventional x-ray technologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Kennedy) Thomson; beloved children, Erin (Keith) Blood, Jared Thomson, Blair (Stephen) Rizzolo; his loving grandchildren, Kylie, Lyla, Liam, Gianna, Jackson; dear siblings, Drake Thomson, Susan Kenny, Kimberly Thomson, and Jennifer Thomson, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Market Street Mission, Morristown, N.J., marketstreet.org/donate.
