George Springle Obituary

GEORGE WILLIAM SPRINGLE

George William Springle, 82, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday morning, February 16, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Scotts Hill Baptist Church, 185 Scotts Hill Loop Road, Wilmington, NC 28411.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Memorial Park. Military Honors will be preformed.

Born December 18, 1929, in Wake County, NC, George was the son of the late George Washington Springle and Mary Elizabeth Croome Springle. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Gary Paul Springle.

George is survived by his loving wife, Reba "Anne" Bullard Springle of Wilmington; daughter, Lisa Kennedy and husband Scot of Wilmington; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made in honor of George to Scotts Hill Baptist Church, 185 Scotts Hill Loop Road, Wilmington, NC 28411.
