My deepest sympathy goes out to the whole Evans family. Rodney meant the world to me. I have been a part of the Friday Night Boys AA Club the 32 years with him. He was one of a few role models that helped me in my recovery. I can not say enough about what he meant to our whole AA squad. Rodney was a man of few words but when he spoke we all listened. He truly loved AA and it showed. Rod will be missed but not forgotten.

Helen & Family, I was so sorry to learn of Rodney's death. I recently had the opportunity to visit with him following church service at St. Vincents. As always, he was fully of spirit and good humor. He was a wonderful person and dear family friend. I will aways be grateful for the opportunity he provided me at Mc Crossan's and his encouragement to stay in college and finish my degree! He loved his family very much and was so proud of his sons, Matt and Billy. I pray the Lord gives you comfort and peace knowing that he is home now with the Lord, resting peacefully, waiting to be reunited with each of you! God Bless, John and Temple Gill

We will dearly miss our Dad in our daily lives as he always had a hug, kiss and a huge smile for everyone. His daily phone conversations that always ended with "I love you" will ring close in our hearts forever. Our Dad was a gentle soul who was the best father and role model a child could have. So grateful that our Grandbabies had the chance to spend time with him and to witness his playful side. The only comfort now is that we know he will be our "Special" Guardian Angel-always at our side watching over us.We will love and miss our Dad forever...
