Dad,
Losing you has been one of the hardest things that I have had to deal with. Over these past few days I've heard stories from family members about their fond memories of you. There were many stories about your practical jokes that you were so fond of pulling and your general sense of humor. They were wonderful stories to hear and I will cherish them. You were generous, loving, funny and had a big heart.
You taught me that the small things in life mean the most. A phone call, a letter or just an I love you meant the world to me. I will forever hold on to all the letters that you sent me and I know I am a stronger person now because of the lessons I've learned from you.
You left us way too soon and I know there will be many times I wish you were still here. You will forever be in my heart and soul and I will carry with me everything I learned from you.
I love and miss you dad.

Brendan was a kind, generous, caring person. He was a regular at the old Sports Attic, and always stayed late to walk me and my Sister out when we were there by ourselves. Heaven has a true gem... My condolences to the family.

Dear my best oldest friend Brendan,
Driving to Clearwater, FL in the Lawlor Family station wagon was worthy of a 'Family Vacation' movie. I remember hearing "SHUT UP" (to Maura & Ellen with every song)..."They get paid to sing you don't!" But I know he loved his sisters as much as any brother could. And remembering Brendan's coy smirk and chuckle is a memory I'll cherish forever--he was definitely one of kind!
R.I.P. my brother!

P.S. I remember when he had a broken arm and would call the 2nd house line phone to order dinner from his Mom downstairs--classic Brendan!!!!

My prayers are with all of my Lawlor cousins for the loss of Brendan. May he rest in peace and be reunited with those he loved that have passed before him. Love to all of you.

ODE TO BRENDAN LAWLOR
BY CHUCK WIMSATT
His name was Brendan Lawlor
I always called him Bree
He was a thirsty lad and enjoyed a drink or three
His laughter was rather loud and quite silly
His father was a carpenter and trained him to be
His mother liked to take him to dinner, and order
scalding hot tea
The last time i saw you was at the old Sports
Attic you were in full war paint, man what a
bumper pool fanatic
I lost track of you for many years long
I sometimes would think of you when i herd that
Jethro Tull song
Now in closing I'm going to steal a line from an
old Irish blessing,i know you wont mind at
least that's what I'm guessing
Until we meet again Brendan may God hold
in the palm of his hand
So long Bree, prayers out to your family
