Paul Fauks was the father of my junior high school best friend, Pam. This was about 1963, in Hayward, California, before their move to Glendale. I can still see that Rambler driving away. I'm sending love and condolences to Pam, Paula and the rest of the family. I haven't seen you all in almost 50 years but have never forgotten the Fauks family.

My family lived next door to Paul and Barbara in Glendale for several years. They were wonderful neighbors and surrogate grandparents to our daughters.
Paul was a soft-spoken man of great inner strength. He lived an amazing life, yet never spoke of himself with anything but humility. And I've never known a man who cared more for his wife than Paul did for Barbara. He was a shining example of how a man should live.
God's blessings to the family.

My name is Bill Jacobs. My son Steve and his family lived next door to Paul and Barbara in Glendale, MO. Paul was a wonderful friend, we spent lots of time talking whenever I visited Missouri. He gave me a ring once that he had literally taken off a hand at Normandy Beach, and asked if I could check with my company, Jostens, who made the ring, and possibly find out through our records who the owner was. He wanted to return it to the family if he could make the connection. This had been on his mind all these years. Unfortunately, Jostens and I were not able to help. I also still have one of his birdhouses here at home--a prized possession. I also remember very clearly sitting in Paul and Barbara's seats at a Cardinal game--probably the best seats I have ever had for a major-league game.
I think of him often, and he will be missed. Our sympathy to the entire family.

I met Paul years ago as a young man trying to find a Major League Tryout Camp. He got me set up with a Cardinals Tryout Camp. He was a very helpful to me and a true Gentleman.

I remember Paul when I was a kid and he worked in the Cardinals front office. His office was near my grandfather's office. I rememmber him to be a very nice, dignified man . My condolences to his family over their loss.

I have great memories of "the Commander" as a person who supported all of us "kids" while we were at KHS.
My best to all of the family.

Paula I speak for myself and our KHS65 classmates in sending sincerest condolences on the loss of your father. It's really difficult for us girls to lose our daddies. I still miss mine every single day. You will get used to missing him, but it won't go away. Blessings to your beautiful family.
