Mike, I had just recently read of your passing and must say I was in shock, We hadn't seen each other in quite a few years but were good friends in high school. I remember when i caught the chicken pox for the first time junior year of high school and while I was out sick you came to visit me. I also remember how you always used to encourage me to use my voice to sing or you said God would take it from me. Well, I dont sing much anymore but it's still a passion that i have. I know music was one of your first loves and i know that where you are now, you will be able to make beautiful music all day every day like you so enjoyed doing. My deepest sympathy to the Sherrod family, be strong and stay prayerful. God will not bring you TO, if he did not intend to bring you THROUGH. Peace and blessings, sleep well Michael. _Denise Houston

Big Mike..
I will never forget how special of a person you were and how much of a true friend you were to me. This news has saddened me truly. and i can only wish that I could be there to pay my final respects to you.I want to thank you for always being there for me and the let the world know it has lost a very special, loving and kind person.
