Elton Williams Obituary
EJ was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Local 568 Pipefitters Union in Gulfport. He coached Women's Slow Pitch Softball from 1972 to 1981.
He enjoyed dancing playing golf, and spending time with his family.
He will be greatly missed.
EJ was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Wilson Williams; parents, Arthur and Viola Haas Williams; brothers, Ariel and Ausvel Williams; and sisters, Zelda Fenton Mosley.
Survivors include his children, Michael (Cheryl) Williams of Gulfport, Vicki (Bobby) Davis of Saucier, Robin (Jeff) Lloyd of LaPlace, LA, Vanessa (Pete) Grundy of Saucier, Ruth Sison of Gulfport, and Jeffrey Williams of Gulfport; raised niece, Stephanie Williams Hatter of Graham, Washington; sister, Eula Marie Meyers of Vancleave; brother, Alvin Williams of Biloxi; grandchildren, Traye Lynch, Jarred and Brandon Williams, Megan Lloyd Vandenborre, Gareth Lloyd, Brent Sison, Taylor Grundy, Jacob , Jenna, Sean, and Greg Williams, Stephanie Lazemby, Michelle Walker, and Danny Davis; great grandchildren, Brittney Ladner, Kara and Andrew Sison, Renee and Austin Michaels, Savanna and Rylee Davis, and Davis and Donna Walker.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Depew Rd, Gulfport.
Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
By request of the family, donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 12290 Depew Road Gulfport, MS 39503-2725.
