Here it is years later and I still am thinking of Andy. I got Andy into Motorcycles and racing way back. He and I fished the lake day, night and storms. Today is Memorial Day 2017 so I was thinking of all my old friends and thought that I should look for a few who may still be with us. I was shocked to read of Andrew passing. He and I shared much together - more than anyone knows. I am so sad to learn of his passing. other old friend can reach me [email protected]

Andy Coleman...A great man !! I worked with him at Harveys and learned alot from him and became a pharmaist as well. He showed me how to be a caring pharmacist. I wish I went to visit him when I came home to Syracuse. But we all know that we will never forget Mr Andy Coleman!!!!! You will be missed.

Kenneth and Roger......I just read of your fathers passing and my deepest sympathy goes out to you both. I worked with your mom at Merchants Bank in Syracuse during the mid to late 70's and we were great friends. We skied together, played racquet ball and joined a health club together. I didn't realize that your mom had also passed away and I wanted to let you know I will never forget her. She and your dad were great people.

To Kenny and Roger: I had enjoyed working with your parents at Harvey's for a ton of years. Their senses of humor and witty remarks make me laugh even today. I can still see your Mom climbing up into the lofts in the backroom, with a long dress on, and laughing while trying to carry boxes too heavy for her. I can still hear Andy's jokes behind the Rx counter and over the PA system. We had a ton of laughs, but your Dad and Mom always had time to listen to a problem and try to help you out. They were great people and I really do miss them both. I went to visit Andy at Rite Aid a couple of years ago and was met with a hug and a kiss. He said he missed all of us at Harvey's, he said he was very proud of both you boys, and that we should get together again and go bowling. Aah- the bowling!! What fun we had!

We worked with Andy for most of the past 4 years. He was always ready for a quick comeback & a smile. He was very proud of both his sons & spoke of them often. We will miss his stories & Yankee insights. May God Bless you, Andy & keep you close.

Kenny and Roger, I am so sorry for your loss. Andy was the first man who hired me at Rite Aid when I was still in high school and taught me a lot of what I know in pharmacy as well as many other matters encountered in a young man's life. Andy always listened and offered great advice and has always been a friend.

to kenny, roger, kim, families and friends: we are totally disheartened with the news received today as we're wintering in bonaire. andy and val have been dear friends that we have shared so many memories since the 70's. new years ski vacations, motocross, fishing telephone and in person chats at your house, and of course watching you boys grow from infants to men and always following your progress. andy and val will always be special friends and never be forgotten. we have tried to call form here to all of you, but cannot connect except answer machine at kim's. our deepest sadness doesn't even express our feelings. our daughter lisa(in syracuse) will represent us at services as we are 3500 miles away and wish we could be with you. please advise us/lisa how we can reach you(telephone preferred) and we would like to speak to you. wishing all of you only the best. rob and pat sachs

Unfortunately I only knew Andy for a relatively short time (18 months) but I remember that time fondly. I'm very grateful that he got to see Kenny and I get married. He accepted me into the Coleman family and was there for me whenever I needed anything. When I think of him, I think of him smiling and making jokes... Well, that or talking about the Yankees or The Giants. Andy, you will be missed immensely. My heart goes out to the rest of the family and I promise to take care of Kenny.
All my love,
Stephanie Coleman

I was sadden to learn about my race buddy Andy Coleman passing away today. To the family my condolences as we share your sorrow. Andy was a one of the early pioneers of Motocross racing in Central New York. He was a great competitor and just a joy to hang with. We all started racing MX in the early 70’s and had the opportunity to see moto masters park develop into a premier motocross track. Andy was sponsored by Moto-Cycle of Syracuse NY and competed in the Central New York District 3 motocross region. It’s like yesterday seeing his smiling face on that rocket CZ as he busted the burm on "Riccelli’s rub-out". My Dad Frank and I shared a lot of laff’s with him and his wife Val at the races. A lot of great memories that we will forever be grateful. May the moto gods be with you at the starting gate “A”. God Speed Andy

To the Coleman family, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I worked with your dad for years at Harvey's Drugs, and you men were in my wedding. I was close with your mom right up until she passed. She was my matron of honor. Your dad was also a great friend, we had our moments but he sure was fun to hang out with. We went bowling alot and your parents would come to my house for dinner and cards. I lost contact with your family when i moved but never forgot you at all. Teresa Marris and family
