Not a day goes by still that I don´t have a memory, thought or even hear a song that I think of you. I often talk to you just because I feel you here. You will always be that one person that I could talk to about anything and I would always feel better. I wish you were here to meet your Great Grandson, Jaret. He is so precious. Until we meet again.... Toots

It is hard to believe it has almost been a year since you were taken from us. A day doesn't go by that you are not thought of or remembered. I have an empty space in my heart where you will always be until the end of time. I hope you are at peace and know that you will NEVER be forgotten. Your devoted friend, Toots, Melodye

June 16, 2013

I am supposed to tell you how much you mean to me today... I am supposed to tell you how much I love you... What I can't understand is why only on this one day are we supposed to do that? Why is Father's Day the day this happens?? If it were everyday than you would have known the day you left me.. Now I sit here and wipe the tears away wondering if you really know just how much I love you.. Happy Father's Day to the most amazing man I have ever known. I would give anything to see you again and tell you I love you.. Dad I miss you and I love you forever....

June 13, 2013

Every year on our birthdays we would call each other and wish a Happy Birthday... This year that call will never come and it is the only one that I wish in my heart would never stop. You would always say lets go for a drink and solve the worlds problems. We never did solve anything but I always enjoyed talking about things an giving it a try. You were always there for me when I needed you and I hope I was there for you... My Best Friend always and I will never stop thinking of you. I will have that drink with you just like always and again on Nov.13th

Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, not a day passes that I don't shed tears, not a day ends without you making me smile... I end each night knowing how proud I am to be your daughter.... I love you dad and you are in my heart always!

One of my favorite memories of Bruce was the day Cari Lynn was born, my Dad and I were standing in his garage in the pouring rain when Bruce pulled in the driveway, got out of his car and ran over to the garage to get out of the rain. He pulled a couple of cigars out of his pocket and announced that he and my baby sister were parents of a precious baby girl. I'll never forget the look on his face, the proud Dad, as he spoke those words to us! That was the day I knew I wanted to have that same look on my face someday when I started a family of my own! I'm sure you have that same look on your face now, as you should, because she is still making you proud , I will vouch for that!
Love,
Bummy

Just a few thoughts from a guy who has known Bruce for more than 25 years, mostly from having played softball with and against him in some of the best leagues in the county.
It's been an honor to have known you "Juice".
A talented athlete. A fierce but always fair competitor. He played the game with respect, courage, determination, and just plain guts. The level of sportsmanship that he brought to the field was unsurpassed, and was exemplary to many of us on how the game should be played. He was a true gentleman on and off the field. His wry smile, his sense of humor, legendary. His loyalty, unyielding.
He never left anything in the bag, it was all left out there on the field.
My most sincere condolences to the Eddy family for your loss. Juice will be truly and sorely missed by so very many who called him friend.
May God Bless,
Nicholas Montanaro

Amy, Cari Lynn, Caitlyn, Jaret, Kenneth & David

Bruce was at the heart of our team. His sense of humor always kept us loose. Tough as nails and the master of "home surgery."

We started to become a great team when he joined us.

I'll never forget when he was playing for AJ's and a line drive hit him in the head. He was knocked out for a while. As soon as he came to his teammates said "Juice we have to get you to the hospital, his reply, 'Give me the ball."

He may have been small in stature but his heart and toughness were that of a giant.

We loved him in life and we honor him in death.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we grieve his death and celebrate his life.

He was truly one-of-a-kind and we were all better for having known him.

RIP my brother.

I have often thought of Bruce after our days at Paul Jeffrey wondering how he was doing. This is such a shock and sad time. May he experience God's peace and His company on his new journey. We all will miss him. To his family, may you experience God's peace as you mourn your loss.

May we discover through pain and torment,
the strength to live with grace and humor.
May we discover through doubt and anguish,
the strength to live with dignity and holiness.
May we discover through suffering and fear,
the strength to move toward healing.
May it come to pass that we be restored to health and to vigor.
May Life grant us wellness of body, spirit, and mind.
And if this cannot be so, may we find in this transformation and passage
moments of meaning, opportunities for love
and the deep and gracious calm that comes
when we allow ourselves to move on.

Although our families didn't travel to visit much, the times we were with the Eddy family was always memorable.
Your Ohio connection.
