Eunice L. DeGroff

Eunice DeGroff January 26, 2011 Eunice DeGroff, 76, of Crandall Rd., Hannibal, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Fulton, Mrs. DeGroff had resided in Hannibal for many years. She had worked as a school bus driver for the Hannibal Central School District for eight years and had owned and operated Jewell's Ceramic Shop in Hannibal. Mrs. DeGroff attended South Hannibal United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard W. DeGroff, who died in 2003; a daughter, Connie DeGroff in 2004; three sons, Max DeGroff in 2002, Mark DeGroff in 2009 and Howard DeGroff in 2010; two sisters, Betty Gowda in 1998 and Jeanette Byrd in 2010. Surviving are a daughter, Holly Cummins; a son, Jeff DeGroff both of Hannibal; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Monday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Spring burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
