To the family of my dear friend, Julia,
To Every Thing There is a Season - Ecclesiastes 3. 1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
The season I spent with Julia and Alice in the choir at Southern Missionary Baptist was many of the things mentioned above. I cherish those memories.

To Marva, Hernese and Julia's family. Deepest sympathy during this time of bereavement. I shared many fun times with Julia all the years we served together in the choir and usher board at Southern. I will miss her sense of humor and most of all, her uplifted voice when she sang praises to our Lord. Be blessed and find comfort in knowing that her pain is gone as she shouts for joy in the presence of our Savior.

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.

Hernese and family, I am so sorry to learn about the passing of your mother. Your mom was such a beautiful woman. I remember her prepping my mother for surgery at St. Josephs Hospital several years ago and she took such great care of her. Like my momma, Julia is a special woman and now our mother's are together again looking down upon us. May Julia rest in peace. If there is anything I can do, please contact me.
