Marshall P. "Marsh" Lamberton

Marshall P. "Marsh" Lamberton July 28, 2011 Marshall P. "Marsh" Lamberton, 62, of 8422 Lewis Point Road, Canastota, died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at University Hospital, Syracuse, following a brief illness. He was born December 3, 1948, in Carbondale, PA, the son of Fred and Elsie Zimmerman Lamberton. Marsh had lived in the Canastota area all his life and was a 1966 graduate of Canastota High School, later attending SUNY Cortland. He was the owner/ operator of Bar-Lam Construction Company, Inc., for more than 20 years and had worked in the construction industry his whole life. Marsh loved his work and was an avid hunter. He was a member of the Canastota Conservation Club. He married Kathleen A. "Kathy" Bender in September of 1966 in Cortland. Surviving besides his wife, Kathy, are a son, Fred M. Lamberton of Canastota; a daughter, Pauline Boden of Oneida; a brother, Charles Lamberton of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Jack Lamberton, Kala Dunning, Felicia Dunning and Jennie Boden; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Marshall's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are under the supervision of J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., Canastota.
