CHIDESTER SR., MARVIN GRAHAM "HONEY" "My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Monday, May 15, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Eric Gyan. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Higginbotham Chidester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Madeline and Chuck Babin and Carol and Keith Babineaux, all of Prairieville; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Marvin G. Although it's been seven years today, it still seems like yesterday that our heavenly Father called you home. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think or speak of you. I miss our talks and the advise you gave. Love you always, your baby girl Carol

So many things could be said about this man...where should I start? He was the best man I ever knew and I think about him every day. I have a picture on my phone of him and every time I open my phone I see him. Great man, wonderful grandfather, and overall amazing guidance to all! I love you and miss you Honey!

Honey,

You were the man that I most looked up to in this world. Your solid guidance showed me what is right and good better than anyone else ever could have. Last night I was putting up pictures in my new apartment and came across one of me and you; then, I started thinking of words to descibe you: ingenuitive, intelligent, patient, fatherly, and loving. I already miss you so much, but you have instilled values in me that will last forever, and I am so thankful for that. I love you, Honey!
