Lewis Walter EILERS

EILERS, Lewis Walter (Lew) Passed away at Springvalley Care Home, Kelowna, BC on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the age of 86 years after a long courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters: Wendy Parkin of Winfield, BC and Donna Reid (Russ) of Kelowna, BC; step-daughter Carol Fairhurst of Prince George, BC, stepson Dave Fairhurst of Black Creek, BC, five grandchildren Stephen, Darryl and Chris Parkin, Dan Maher, Shelley Luciw and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jessie and Frederick Eilers, sister Birdie Stuart, first wife Karen Eilers, second wife Eunice Eilers. Cremation preceded the memorial service held at Springvalley Care Home 355 Terai Court, Kelowna, BC on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 am with Pastor David Van Essen officiating. An interment will be held at Royal Oak Cemetery, Victoria, BC at a later date.
