My grandson is attending North Star Academy in Alexandria. Everytime I go to Alex to watch him play hockey, I think of the great times we had with Dan and the Olsons. Great memories, great childhood friend.

From the Reiersons. We have many great memories of our friendship in our younger years. I was glad to make Danny's memorial and witness the love from his friends. If his friends are an indicater, Dan lived a rich life. Roger

We knew Danny from many years back when we were dating and frequented Sweeney's. He was the reason we kept going there. What a friendly and warm heart he had. As another writer said...a son of Saint Paul is missing. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

"An Ode to Daniel Olson"
Dan begone with his impish smile, who lit up everyone's life. Seldom a swear word except when he lost a game of cards: "I left my billfold at home, so I have to give you a chit"!!!
Miss you, Lars

Danny brought so much laughter into this world. I enjoyed seeing him at Billy's, especially beating my brother at cribbage. If a board was unavailable, he could keep track of pegging in his mind (both his & his unlucky opponent). True genius...I'll miss you Danny

Danny was a pleasure to have known, as a fellow worker, he could never say a bad thing about anyone, even the unruleist of the customers. But one thing I can say about Danny, he couldn't tell a short story! He will be greatly missed. Nancy Ruhl,Costellos
