ALBERT A. DeSTEFANO, SR.
On Wednesday, November 21, 2012 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Rose M. DeStefano; son of the late Rocco and Anna DeStefano; father of Paul J. (Chris), James P. (Debby), and the late Albert A. DeStefano, Jr.; brother of Anne DeStefano and the late Salvatore, Carol, Rose and Teresa; grandfather of Mark DeStefano, Laura Acton, Brian DeStefano, Katherine DeStefano, Stephen Farias and David Farias; great grandfather of Sarah, Anthony, Luke, Conor, and Finn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert was an attorney at Becker, Ross, Stone, DeStefano & Klein in New York City for over 50 years. Later in his career, he taught at Fordham School of Law at Lincoln Center. Albert enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing his wisdom with his loved ones, politics, and sports. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Monday, November 26 from 10 to 11 a.m.; with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to Helen Keller Services for the Blind; St. Francis DeSales School for the Deaf, Brooklyn, New York; and Cleary School for the Deaf, Nesconset, New York.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
