"Little" Alex and all the McKenzies will miss Alex's clever wit, warm demeanor and generous spirit tremendously. So many wonderful memories of dinners, Revels' shows and other events. Sincere sympathy to Barbara and family, from Trish Heady, Margaret and Alexander McKenzie

I worked with Alex at DC Public Library until his retirement. He was a wonderful colleague and friend.

Alex and I have been good friends since his arrival in Anacostia shortly after WWII. We were in class together and became everlasting friends. My condolences to his wife, Barbara.
