To the family of Alfred Powell Sr.,
I always stopped and visited with him before Mass and we would ask about each others' family. He would always have a joke or story and we would laugh together. Al brightened this world with his warm caring and genuine nature. I will miss him and the joy and light he always shared. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God's peace surround and comfort each of you.

For the many Masses where you sat and made us feel like such wonderful parents. For the way you made my children smile. Sunday mornings are a bit impoverished not having you sitting up there any more. May you rest in peace, and we will pray. For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I never had the pleasure of meeting you, but always knew you as Uncle Al from your nephew (my husband, Michael Hosea.) He talked about your kind and loving personality, and how you told the funniest jokes. Rest in peace Uncle Al. Our deepest condolences to the family. In our thoughts and prayers.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me with tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fall away although we couldnt bear to lose you we could not ask you to stay. A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands laid to rest god broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best. We love you grandpa and will miss you. You will live forever in our hearts.
