Chuck, Carl, Faye and Karen, our hearts go out to all of you in your loss. Aunt Alice was the embodiment of everything good, and she will be missed by everyone. Even though it has been many years since my childhood, I have never forgotten her positive attitude, her loving spirit, her beautiful smile and sweet laugh, and the fact that she was so kind to everyone she met. She is a wonderful example of what we should all strive to be. I haven't seen Aunt Alice too often in the past many years, but I feel so blessed to have had such a special person a part of my life. I know that everyone who knew her will miss her very much, but our precious memories of her will keep her alive in the hearts of us all.

Dear Family of Aunt Alice: I have so many happy memories of Aunt Alice as a small child and young girl. She was absolutely adored by everyone, especially by my mama, Ollie Mae. Alice was such a beautiful person with a smile that just melted your heart. She was such an uplifting and delightful person to be around, and looked at the 'good' in everything. I enjoyed all the trips Alice made to VA, and our visits to MD. Aunt Alice was an integral part of those times. I am so sad for your loss. You all are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers. With much Love, Deborah Baines Quinn

I condole with you. We have lost a wonderful Mother, Mother-in-law, Sister, Cousin, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Aunt. Whenever I think of Aunt Alice I always recall the summer visits at your house. She was always impressionable with her kindness, always soft spoken, and never failed to give appropriate guidance to us youngsters. She had such a beautiful smile and quiet unassuming manner combined with a sense of humor. I can say with all honesty that she had to be the sweetest lady I ever met. Her absence will be felt by many for many years to come. Words are so inadequate at a time like this, yet please know that my love, thoughts and prayers are with you.
With deepest sympathy,
Ellen Bains

Chuck, Carl, Karen and Faye - you are so much on my heart. Our Maryland family has always meant so much to me. The love my Mom had for Aunt Alice was implanted in us children. She was a bright ray of sunshine on a golden day. She is now with our Lord. Love, Ellen and family

May the Lord comfort all of you at this sad time. What a sweet, wonderful lady Aunt Alice was. She always had a smile on her face no matter what. I can still hear her laugh and I haven't even seen her in a long time. She will truly be missed.

I remember her giving my Mom perms. She had her mother's laugh and I always admired her strength to deal with life as it was handed to her.
