Dear Bunny & Zanger Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Mo was a very dear friend of my parents, Burke & Lory Walsh, he and Bunny were very special to them. There is nothing my parents cherished more then their family and friends. I know they are together in heaven. Bunny, thank you for the love and friendship you shared with them, you are so strong and you have such a positive outlook on life, it's easy to see why my parents, and Mo loved you so much! If there is ever anything that I can do to help you, please let me know, I would happily do anything I can for you.
You're all on my mind and in my prayers ~
Take Care,
Marjorie "Muggie"

Dear Bunny and the Zanger family. Joe Walsh called me to tell me the sad news. I am so sorry to hear about Moe - he was a classmate of my husband's at Gonzaga and a GREAT guy!!! Harry loved him as I grew to too. He was a very special man and I know he is up there organizing a wonderful Heavenly reunion of the famous Gonzaga Class of 1944. We will miss you Moe but we will never forget you. Thank you for being a large part of my husband's life.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Moe Zanger. He was a real gentleman, a teammate at Car Credit and I don't think he had an enemy in the world. I will always cherish the conversations with Moe at the Jock's Reunion.

I always felt really special being a kid and going to the Zanger house. Mr and Mrs Zanger created a beautiful family and a wonderful home. I feel very blessed to have been included in so many of their family functions. Condolences to the whole family. Your Dad was a sweet, gentle man that I always admired.

To Bunny and the "Dirty Baker's Dozen" and all of the spouses, friends and family -- Moe will be missed so much! He brought so much joy to my Mom & Dad (Joe & Doris Hickson) for so many years and did a great job of keeping up with my Dad (after Mom was gone) making sure he stayed involved. I remember so many wonderful events with the '44 Club & Moe, Dad and Jack (McAleer) were always at the heart of it all. Thanks for so many wonderful memories!!!!
Love and prayers!

To the Zanger family,
As you all know, Moe was my father's best friend for life. I always loved hearing stories about their younger days playing football with leather helmets and metal cleats and raising us kids. They are solid examples of the "Greatest Generation" and what it means to be a real man. Thank you for all of the good times. Moe will be missed by all.

Moe was the "heart" of the Gonzaga "44 Club. For many decades, his chatty, vibrant memos helped sustain the Class spirit. For those of us far removed from the Washington area, he was our main link to the '44 Club. We will miss this gracious and caring man. Anne-Marie and I and will remember him and Bunny and his family in our prayers.
