ANN MARIE DOUGHERTY
On Tuesday, January 1, 2013, of Rockville, MD. Beloved daughter of the late Louis B. and Clara Dougherty; sister of Harry Dougherty and the late Eugene, William, and Louis Dougherty. Also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 40 great-nieces and nephews, and 30 great-great-nieces and nephews. The family is especially thankful for the unending support from St. Elizabeth Church, Msgr. MacFarlane, Patricia McCarthy, Fr. M. Valentine from St. Mary's Church, and Montgomery Hospice. Relatives and friends may call at St. Elizabeth Church, 917 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD, on Saturday, January 5, from 2 to 3 p.m. where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Interment Saint John's Cemetery, Pittston, PA at a later date.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Aunt Ann Marie - how many stories I have heard about you and the time and love you shared with my nephews, Leighton and Christopher and for the never ending support of my sister's family. My mother Kathleen Flynn (Mancuso) has always spoken highly of Ann Marie. From their days growing up as young children in Pittston until now, they kept in touch and considered each other a lifetime friend. When my mother had some health issues, Ann Marie tracked me down to make sure all was well. My mother will miss her deeply.

I always called her Ann Marie....a lovely name for a lovely person. Knowing her for 30 years at work made time fly by. She was intelligent,funny and loved her huge family and her friends. She will be missed

Aunt Ann Marie was a wonderful fifth family member to my sister Renee, her husband Bob, and my two nephews Leighton and Christopher. I am grateful to Aunt Ann Marie for all the love and help she provided my sister's family. We'll miss Aunt Ann Marie's joy of conversation and connection with people. I will miss her terribly! She was an awesome friend for over 40 years and we went through some great times. Always finding time to laugh or just be silly. I'm honored to have our relationship begin professionally, only to have evolved into a long lasting friendship. I could tell her anything without judgement.
