On Saturday, December 21, 2013, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved wife of Robert E. Schilke; mother of Tamy Bobbitt, Karen Kennedy, Edward Mangene, Jenifer Mosko, Robert Schilke, Theresa Wilder, Valerie Weidemann and Margaret Sweet; daughter of Harold and Virginia Rich; sister of Gary Rich. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, December 27, 12 to 1 p.m. where Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Private. I am grateful for the life you lived and all you did for so many others. My mother worked at the shop for years. You also have me and my sister our first real jobs working at the shop. You came to both of our high school graduations and celebrates our successes. You have always been a part of our family and I am blessed to have known you. God bless your soul as you are now at rest.

I met Ann on February 13, 2008, the day before Valentine's Day in her store, Little Bitts. She greeted me with a warm smile and a loving kiss! She invited me to return to the store for candy class and I have been shopping there every since. My primary reason for returning to the store was to receive her genuine love. Ann your ministry of love will live on and I will incorporate your loving techniques into my daily life. I will always love you and save a sweet spot for me in heaven. Rest in peace sweetheart until we meet again.

Ann Marie always loved her family, and was loved by many. Her husband Bob, and her children were truly loved by her. She will be missed. The special sparkle in her eyes will be long remembered. May Our Lord grant the family and friends consolation during this time of loss. Those we love are never really gone, they are just a memory away.

Ann was so talented, I remember how much love she put into the baked treats she made for her family's and friends special celebrations. She had an unknowing ability to light up a room with her smile, she was always smiling :) She was Maritza and Edward's friends extended Mom and truly cared for each and every one of us. You will be missed Ann but never forgotten. An angel called home too soon.
